this meter has working batteries...........there are no readings in the memory..........this meter reads one touch verio test strips....not included......this is for the meter and holder only....no case........the meter is in good cosmetic condition.........exception being the screen..........there are some light scratches........it does feel like there is a plastic piece over it........but i am going to leave it alone.......may be a special screen.........this meter was out of box..........the rest of meter is in very good out of box new condition.........with the exception of the screen......see pics.....sn: {21}kcnmlkp2......
