the cartridge has 2 conditioning strips with aloe and vitamin e and b5.........plastic case and sleek metal handle with rubber grip..........the package has an opening in the plastic where it covers the case but does not touch the case......the void caused the approx 1" slice in the plastic.........no damage seen.............this was a sample so a good chance to try and see if you like............
