the cat in the hat...........states.......copyright renewed in 1985......looks to be the 1st edition of the renewed copyright.......but not sure how to verify........has what looks to be some indent marks...on the edges of the front hardcover..but no associated marks on the inside of the front cover.............see pics.....but there are some on the back cover.....teething......overall good condition......hardcover has some dings on the edges and corners but is structurally sound..........name written in pencil on who the book belongs to......no rips or tears and nothing is coming apart..for ages 4 - 8.....free 50 states ground shipping usps
