this appears to be an unused meter.......when you turn it on it comes up with a code of 3881 and then i do not see any readings in the memory..............it has working batteries..........at 1 time this meter was recalled........had something to do with it putting out a reading if you bent the strip.....then the recall was cancelled..........i presume that it will read accu chek instant test strip.........there is no manual but likely there is one online..........it is model # 914.........serial # ry03609035.............the meter is in near excellent condition with just a few light scratches on the screen....meter is well made.............1 nick on 1 side that you can see in the pics...........do your research on this meter to be sure it is one that you can use........to the best of my knowledge, it has not been used.......
