i replaced this coil with a new 1 under the assumption that it was bad.......from a coleman generator ......#pm0543000-17..........well it turned out to be the carb & valve adj.........this is likely an oem briggs coil......but cannot be sure since the generator was purchased used...........you get free returns if you find any issues with this coil.............for Briggs & Stratton 796964 & 695711 engines........
